About Pinbuds everyday ITA bags

Every Pinbuds ITA bag has a clear front window and a removable pin pad. Build your layout flat, slide the pad into the window and swap it in seconds, so your pins and charms ride visible and protected to work, uni or a con.

The main bags come as backpacks, convertible 3-way and 4-way bags, and totes that fit a range of laptops, up to 18″. Our 2026 bags, the 3-Way Cotton Daily ITA Bag 15″, the Dual Window Anti-theft ITA Backpack 15″ and the 4-Way Water-Resistant Travel ITA Bag 17″, add scratch-resistant TPU windows, two pin pads and reinforced stitching. The 9″ sling and 7″ phone wallet are mini ITA bags: wear them on their own, or use them to organise the inside of a main bag.

What is an ITA bag?
  • A bag with a clear window that shows off your pins, charms or plush.
  • The idea comes from Japan (itabag, 痛バッグ).
  • Ours are designed in Sydney for everyday carry, not just event days.
How do you use an ITA bag?
  • Pin your collection onto the pin pad.
  • Slide the pad in behind the clear window.
  • Add charms on the D-rings, and plush inside the window if you like.
  • Carry it like any everyday bag: laptop, bottle and the rest go in the main pockets.
What does the pin pad do?
  • It holds your pins, so they never go through the bag itself.
  • It has a hook and loop back, so it lifts in and out of the window.
  • You can change your whole layout without unpinning anything from the bag.
Some bags come with two pin pads. What can I do with two?
  • Keep a different theme on each pad, for example your Japan set on one and your anime pins on the other.
  • Swap pads in seconds to suit your outfit, a con or your mood.
  • The pad you're not using keeps its pins safe and ready to go.
  • Bags in the 2026 collection come with two pin pads.
What is the pin installation foam?
  • A foam board that comes with the 2026 bags.
  • Lay your pin pad on top and push each pin straight through. No sore fingers from forcing pins through fabric.
  • Flip the pad over and put all the pin backs on in one go.
  • Put it behind the pad to bring your pins closer to the window. The windows have room for a mix of pins, charms and plush, so the foam stops pins sitting far back when you want a fuller look.

  • Yes: 1 year against manufacturing faults, from delivery, B-grade bags included.
  • It covers faults in materials and workmanship under normal everyday use.
  • Normal wear and tear, accidents and misuse aren't covered.
  • Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law also apply.
