Four bags in one
- Backpack. Straps clip on and adjust.
- Shoulder bag. Padded strap included, attaches to the back.
- Tote. Two top handles, adjustable at the front and back buckles.
- Laptop and travel bag. Straps off, handles short, luggage strap over your suitcase.
The backpack straps detach and hide inside zipped panels on the back, so nothing dangles when you carry it any other way. Switching takes about ten seconds and you can do it standing up with the bag still packed.
The display
Two removable pin pads come in the box. Your pins go on the pad, not on the bag, so you can build a second layout at home and swap the whole thing in before you head out.

Why the window matters
It is thicker than the one on our 18 inch, clearer at the same time, and scuff resistant.
Display windows rarely fail all at once. They die by a thousand small scratches from chair backs, table edges, your own strap buckle, someone else's zip in a crowd. Each one is nothing. The sum of them is a window you can no longer see through. That is the most common reason people replace a bag like this, so it is where we spent the money.
Built to be loaded
The outside is TPU coated cotton. Waterproof, and it does not have the cracking and peeling problem that eventually catches up with pleather.

FAQ
What is an ITA bag?
A bag with a clear window on the front so you can display pins, charms, keychains, plushes or art. It started in Japanese street fashion. The rest of this bag is a normal, very good backpack.
Will my pins damage the bag?
No. Pins go on the removable pad, not through the bag. Two pads are included so you can keep two layouts ready.
Is it actually waterproof?
The TPU coated cotton exterior is waterproof and the zips are fully enclosed. It handles rain and spills. It is not a dry bag, so do not swim with your laptop in it.
Can I use it without the pin pad?
Yes. Take both pads out and it is a plain 17 inch bag with a clear front panel.
Does it fit under an aeroplane seat?
It is cabin friendly and has a luggage strap for your suitcase handle. Under-seat fit depends on the airline, so check their dimensions against ours.
